Stump Grinding

Rockstar Landscaping's stump grinding services are quick, easy, and make it appear as if the stumps were never there! Most smaller stumps can be completed in as little as 15-30 minutes while larger stumps may take several hours for complete removal. 

For access, we need at least 50" of space to get our equipment through any fences or around plant growth. Our stump grinding equipment will chip and shred away exposed wood from stumps while quickly turning it into useable mulch. All stumps will be ground at least 6" below grade of the lawn and have exposed roots removed. When finished, our crew will rake the stump grindings back into the hole where the tree once stood.

After the stumps have been ground, we offer grinding removal and regrading services. For an additional charge, we can remove grindings from the hole using machinery and get rid of them, so you don't have to. Afterwards we'll be able to fill the hole with dirt, place grass seed over the top, and lay a straw blanket on top to make it look like your stump was never there. 

Stumps are measured using the widest diameter above grade of the lawn instead of the base of the trunk. This way, we guarantee that the entire stump and any exposed root systems will be ground below grade. Ensuring the entirety of the stump being ground prevents new growth from re-sprouting around the perimeter of the stump.
